At Any Translation we are proud to offer over 180 languages for translation with our network of over 30,000 linguists! All our translators are based in the country of the target language you require, so if you need English to French translation we will use a professional translator based in France. It is important that the translator lives in-country to keep up to date with changes in language, new terminology and styles of writing. We only use human translators for our projects, never machines.
Occasionally we need to use translators based in the UK, for example if you work for a local council you need someone who can understand UK terms, for example ‘council tax’ and can make this understood by non-English speakers in the local area. How fast?!
Our translators can translate up to 4000 words per day but we usually work to around 2000 words per day for translation. Proofreading, undertaken by a second qualified translator, is recommended as an additional quality check and can be completed at a rate of 3000-7000 words per day. We always recommend a second translator to proofread the work to check for quality, terminology and error – after all our translators are only human!
If you need your project returned faster than our standard turnaround (based on one translator and proof reader) we can put together a team of translators who can work side by side to complete your project quickly. We can meet almost ANY timescale – just ask!
Files and typesetting...
We can accept almost any file format from hard copies to electrical formats and can supply your translation however you want, by email, post or fax. Just let us know what we need to do to make your job easier!
If we have the source files for your document, i.e. the files that were used to create it, then we can typeset the translated content into your original template. We take into account language expansion, language direction and different character sets, for example Arabic or Chinese. We take away the stress of working with an unfamiliar language using our language experts to ensure your text is accurately placed in your original template.
